Dr. Gregor McPherson, a native Aberdonian, is thrilled to become the newest addition to Andrew Scott Dental-Aberdeen’s premier dental practice. Trained at the prestigious University of Glasgow, Gregor has dedicated his career to offering patient focused, pain-free dental care.

Gregor has developed a keen interest in various domains of dental care. He excels in preventative and restorative dentistry, composite bonding, and is especially skilled in the treatment of anxious patients. Gregor explained, ‘Dental work can be stressful for many people. My goal is to create an experience so positive that you’ll actually look forward to your next visit.’

Gregor is a modern dentist for a modern world with an enthusiasm for incorporating advanced digital technology into his practice. ‘The technology available today allows us to deliver outstanding, re-creatable results providing our patients with the highest level of care possible,’ he says.

Rebecca completed an Oral Health Sciences degree at University of Dundee, graduating with distinction in 2019. Now working as a qualified Dental Therapist, she is studying to become a Dentist at the Institute of Dentistry, Aberdeen.

Rebecca’s active involvement in a mentoring programme is helping shape the future of those entering the dental profession. She is also a co-host of a dental podcast, aiming to offer insight to the opportunities within dentistry.

Rebecca has a passion for educating patients on the advantage of taking an active role in preventing and stabilising dental diseases, such as dental decay and gum disease. Rebecca advocates working together with you and the dental team to develop a tailored care plan to achieve the best possible outcome for you.

Jodie Snook will be a familiar face to many of our patients having worked with us as a qualified dental nurse she has qualified from the University of Dundee with a Distinction in Dental Therapy.

Julie has been working in private dentistry since qualifying from Dundee University in 1993. After graduating Julie worked in Canada for 6 years before returning to Aberdeen in 2004 and she has been working in a local private dental practice since then.

Julie has completed several orthodontic courses including 6 Month Smiles, Clear Aligner and Smilelign and has been providing cosmetic Orthodontic treatment since 2012. Julie particularly enjoys seeing the results that can be achieved with this type of treatment which makes the most of the patients natural teeth without having to remove any tooth structure.

Julie has special interests in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and helping anxious patients overcome their fears.

Roshan Fernandez is a highly skilled dentist with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, cosmetic orthodontics, smile design, implants and facial aesthetic treatments such as aesthetic fillers and anti-wrinkle injections.

Roshan will be a familiar face to many, having been a partner at Queen’s Road Dental Practice for before practicing at Aboyne. Roshan was raised near Montrose and is married with two girls. When he’s not in the clinic or spending time with his family, Roshan’s on the move, having competed a dozen marathons and 13 fifty mile duathlons. He’s a huge fan of Scottish rugby, a talented artist and constantly trying to be a better guitarist and piano player.

Marina was born and raised in Madrid (Spain) where she graduated as a dentist in 2003. After practicing as a general dentist she earned her Postgraduate Degree in Endodontics at New York University in 2008.

Marina moved to Aberdeen with her family in 2019 and has been working in a local dental practice.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking and travelling.

Rachel graduated from the Institute of Dentistry Aberdeen in 2021 and has received several professional awards for her technical skills. Having held a variety of roles within multi-disciplinary healthcare teams and teaching for over 10 years, Rachel offers the dedication, care and compassion that any patient could wish for.

As a general dentist striving for clinical excellence within restorative and aesthetic dentistry Rachel keeps abreast of the latest evidence, techniques and technologies through postgraduate training, professional memberships and research. As an accomplished fine artist, medical illustrator and photographer Rachel has a meticulous eye for detail and precision skills. Blending her unique experience, knowledge and talents to carefully restore your dentition and create a natural smile aesthetic that suits you.

George is presently a clinical senior lecturer and consultant at the University of Dundee and NHS Tayside. He is GDC registered specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Periodontics.

George is happy to accept referrals for the management of tooth wear, full mouth rehabilitation of failed extensively restored dentition including changing the vertical dimension, complete dentures for severely resorbed ridges, complex endodontic treatment, and non-surgical and surgical treatment of moderate / severe periodontal disease, including muco-gingival surgery for the correction of gingival recession.

Will is a dedicated Specialist Periodontist who is committed to providing excellence for patients in the management of Periodontal disease and Implant treatment.

Will has worked both in NHS Hospital and private specialist practice environment and has many year’s experience in managing complex cases to the highest standards.

Will is passionate about Periodontology and has a strong belief that improving a patient’s periodontal health can positively impact on their overall medical wellbeing, something which is reinforced by modern scientific research.

Becky graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2012 and completed graduate training jobs in various dental specialties before focusing on pursuing a career in oral surgery. She worked in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery departments of the general hospitals in Glasgow and Kilmarnock, before relocating to Aberdeen to take up a post as a Senior Oral Surgeon within NHS Grampian.

Becky is skilled in treating patients with complex medical histories and patients with dental anxiety. Becky completed the Diploma in Conscious Sedation in 2017 from Newcastle University and is qualified to safely administer intravenous sedation to anxious patients to facilitate their dental treatment. Otherwise, Becky enjoys teaching and is a Resuscitation Council UK certified Immediate Life Support trainer.

Andrew Scott is an experienced dentist who has established himself as one of Aberdeen’s leading private dentists over the last 20 years providing high quality dental care whilst continuously improving and expanding on his knowledge and experience.

Andrew has placed thousands of dental implants with very high success rates and very aesthetic results. Andrew takes time to find out about all the concerns you have with your dental treatment and address these in a relaxed, professional and courteous manner using all the latest technology to ensure that your result is as good as possible.

Andrew is also the ITI (International Team for Implantology) Study Club Director for North East Scotland, ensuring that he is up-to-date with all the latest techniques and developments in dental implantology.
