Aberdeen FC Players Put Their Smiles to the Test at Andrew Scott Dental Care

Andrew Scott Dental Care welcomed a few special visitors recently, as players from Aberdeen FC dropped by the practice for a light-hearted challenge of quick thinking, teamwork, and teeth. The squad took part in a fun “Guess the Smile” quiz, proving that even professional athletes can be thrown off when all they have to work with is a close-up of their teammate’s grin.

The competition quickly turned chaotic in the best way – laughter, friendly digs, and plenty of second guesses. What began as a simple game soon turned into a battle of pride and bragging rights.

Guessing Games and Good-Natured Chaos

The players were shown cropped photos featuring nothing but a smile, and had to identify which teammate it belonged to. Some were proud of their accuracy from the outset (“Yes! Come on!”), while others found themselves completely undone by deceptively familiar teeth.

One early mix-up saw Clarky’s “biggest smile ever” confidently declared – only for the pair to immediately get it wrong. Another guess triggered a full backtrack: “No, no, no… Oh, it’s Emma. Jesus Christ. Sorry, Kaz!”

As the quiz rolled on, they rattled through names:

  • “Nick’s the one.”
  • “That’s Nisbet – he’s got nice teeth, to be fair to him.”
  • “Marco, 100%.”
  • “Kenan? Yep, well done!”

Even when they were right, the players were never shy about teasing each other. Several insisted that certain teammates “don’t smile a lot either”, which made the challenge even more entertaining.

Who Came Out on Top?

By the end, the room was full of mock outrage and playful accusations of cheating. One player declared, “We know it’s over. Amazing. We lost.” Another retorted, “You were late!” as if that explained everything.

Eventually, a winner was crowned – followed by the celebratory acceptance of a tongue-in-cheek “trophy”. The moment wrapped up with plenty of laughs and the sense that the day had been a welcome break from the intensity of league fixtures.

A Visit with a Purpose

Beyond the fun, the visit highlighted the importance of good oral health for athletes and non-athletes alike. Andrew Scott Dental Care was delighted to host the team and showcase how proper dental care supports wellbeing, confidence, and performance.

The dental practice is committed to making every visit relaxed and positive – whether you’re a professional footballer or simply looking after your smile.
